presented relief bags to Thung Song Hong Police Station to assist local residents affected by recent flooding in the Laksi District. Representatives from EGCO Group, alongside police officers from Thung Song Hong Police Station, jointly distributed the relief bags to community members in Bang Bua (Wood Bridge 1) and Bang Bua Ruam Jai Pattana (Wood Bridge 2) on 9 October 2026.

Ms. Piyanon Wattanachanya, Executive Vice President - Corporate Strategy of EGCO Group said, “At EGCO Group, we believe that ensuring energy security goes hand in hand with caring for society and local communities. This donation reflects our commitment to supporting people affected by flooding through our collaboration with Thung Song Hong Police Station, which works closely with local residents in the Laksi District and understands their needs. We hope this assistance will help ease their immediate hardship and offer encouragement as they recover and return to normal life as soon as possible.”

Acting Police Captain Sarawut Duangmanee, a representative of Thung Song Hong Police Station, said, “The recent flooding in the Laksi District has affected homes and livelihoods, particularly those of people who rely on daily earnings. Although the situation is beginning to improve, some families are still struggling with lost income. We thank EGCO Group for providing relief bags containing essential items that residents can use right away to help ease their household expenses.”

The distribution will prioritize the hardest-hit communities, particularly those along the Bang Bua canals. Collection points will be set up for residents who can collect the relief bags in person, while vulnerable residents, including elderly, will receive deliveries directly to their homes.

This initiative reflects EGCO Group’s “Energy for Life” philosophy, which places caring for society and communities alongside its energy business. By working with local agencies that maintain close ties with residents and understand the challenges they face, EGCO Group aims to ensure that assistance meets the needs of communities affected by flooding.
