clarifies a published report

Electricity Generating Plc (EGCOMP), in a clarification to the Stock Exchange of Thailand, said that the company has not set the price of its capital increase shares which will be offered to general investors. The published report stated that EGCOMP's share prices have moved in the opposite direction to the market's direction during the last few days because of the rumor that the company would set the price of its 80 million capital increase shares to be offered to general public at Bt75 apiece. EGCOMP said it will inform the SET when it sets the offering price of its shares. Translated by The Nation
