APPOINTS NEW DIRECTORS

Electricity Generating Plc. (EGCOMP) reported that its board of directors has resolved at the meeting no. 10/1996, held on October 31, 1996, to appoint Mr. Haris Sutabutr and Mr. Boonchai Jiwalai as new directors to succeed Mr. Jamorn Suthipongchai and Mr. Pallop Krailerk, who have resigned.
