No. EGCO 310/164 Date: March 31, 1999 Attn: The President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Subject: The exercise of EGCOMP's warrant holders in the second year Referred to our letter dated April 17, 1998 stated that Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCOMP) issued 1,482,100 warrants to the employees of EGCOMP and its subsidiaries in the second year of 5 year project and the exercise dates were scheduled on April 17, 1998 or March 31, 1999. As a result, the EGCOMP's warrant holders exercised their rights to subscribe 1,382,100 ordinary shares on April 17, 1998. Please be informed that the EGCOMP's warrant holders exercised their rights to subscribe 100,000 ordinary shares on March 31, 1999.EGCOMP will later submit the Application for Listing of Ordinary Shares issued for Capital Increase to the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
