No. EGCO 310/123 Date : March 12, 2001 Attn : The President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Subject : The exercise of EGCOMP's warrant holders in the fourth year According to Electricity Generating Public Company limited (EGCOMP) issued 1,516,400 warrants to the employees of EGCOMP and its subsidiaries in the fourth year of 5 year project and the exercise dates were scheduled on April 17, 2000 or March 12, 2001, the exercise ratio 1:1 at the exercise price of Baht 30 per share, Please be informed that the EGCOMP's warrant holders exercised their rights to subscribe 671,000 shares on March 12, 2001. Including with the warrant, which was exercised on April 17, 2000, the total warrants that employees have exercised in the fourth year of the program are 797,000 shares. Moreover EGCOMP will later submit the Application for Listing of Ordinary Shares issued for Capital Increase of 671,000 shares to the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
