No. EGCO 410/318 Date : July 17, 2001 Attn : The President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Subject : The exercise of EGCOMP's warrant holders in the fifth year Reference is made to the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) of Electricity Generating Public Company limited (EGCOMP). EGCOMP issued 1,434,100 warrants on ordinary shares to the employees of EGCOMP and its subsidiaries in the fifth year of 5-year plan. The ratio of the exercise of rights is one unit per ordinary share at the share price of Baht 30. The exercise dates were scheduled on July 17, 2001 or June 17, 2002. EGCOMP would like to inform the Stock Exchange of Thailand that on July 17, 2001, EGCOMP's warrant holders exercised their rights to subscribe 878,400 ordinary shares. Consequently, EGCOMP will submit the Application for Listing of Ordinary Shares issued for Capital Increase of 878,400 shares to the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
