SET RESUMES TRADING OF BANPU, EGCOMP AND RATCH
Stock Exchange of Thailand Resumes Trading of BANPU, EGCOMP and RATCH
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) had ordered the trading
suspend on the securities of the following listed companies
effective from the first trading of 5 January, 2004 because
Electricity Generation Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and BANPU
have paticipated in the negotiation of a Memorandum of Understanding
(MOU) which involves among other things the discussion of the
purchase and sale of EGCOMP and RATCH. This may affect the trading
of their securities.
1. BANPU PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED (BANPU)
2. ELECTRICITY GENERATING PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED (EGCOMP)
3. RATCHABURI ELECTRICITY GENERATING HOLDING
PUBLIC CO.,LTD. (RATCH)
Now, those companies have completely disclosed a Memorandum
of Understanding of the relevant material information, which has
been broadly disseminated through the SET's disclosure systems.
Thus, the SET permitted resumption of trading of those companies
from January 6, 2004 onwards.
