Halt Trading of BANPU, EGCOMP and RATCH The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has ordered the trading halt of BANPU Pcl. (BANPU), ELECTRICITY GENERATING Pcl.(EGCOMP) and RATCHABURI ELECTRICITY GENERATING HOLDING Pcl.(RATCH). Because there is unconfirmed news concerning the ambiguous on the discussion of the purchase and the sale of EGCOMP and RATCH, but the SET has not yet been officially informed. Therefore, the SET has temporarily halted trading of these Companies' securities,effective from morning trading session of February 24,2004 until these Companies have clarified or disclosed this material information to the SET.
