SP SIGN POSTED AGAINST BANPU , EGCOMP ,RATCH(Amendment)

Stock Exchange of Thailand Changes Trading Halt of RATCH, RATCH and EGCOMP to Suspension (Amendment) The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) temporarily ordered the halt of BANPU Pcl. (BANPU), ELECTRICITY GENERATING Pcl. (EGCOMP) and RATCHABURI ELECTRICITY GENERATING HOLDING Pcl. (RATCH) since the morning trading session of February 24, 2004 pending receipt of the significant information. However,the SET has not yet received the information in question from the firms. Thus, the SET suspended trading in the Companies effective from afternoon trading session of February 24, 2004 onwards, until the Companies have clarified or disclosed the significant information in question to the SET.
