Resume Trading of BANPU , EGCOMP , RATCH

Resume trading of BANPU, EGCOMP and RATCH The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has ordered the trading suspension of BANPU Pcl. (BANPU), ELECTRICITY GENERATING Pcl.(EGCOMP) and RATCHABURI ELECTRICITY GENERATING HOLDING Pcl.(RATCH) since the afternoon trading session of February 24, 2004 because there is unconfirmed news concerning the ambiguous on the discussion of the purchase and the sale of EGCOMP and RATCH,but the SET has not yet been officially informed. Now, BANPU has completely clarified or disclosed the relevant material information, which has been broadly disseminated through the SET's disclosure systems. Thus, the SET permitted resumption of trading of BANPU, EGCOMP and RATCH effective from the morning trading session of February 25, 2004 onwards.
