EGCO No. 110/080 Date: February 17, 2006 Attention: President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Subject: News Clarification : The Final Dividend Payment With reference to the news in Khao Hoon that Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO), EGCO will pay the dividend per share of Baht 1.75, the Company would like to clarify that the Management of EGCO did not reveal any figure as stated in the news. EGCO plans to hold a Board of Director's meeting on 20 March 2006 to consider the approval of final dividend for 2006, the resolution of which will be informed to SET. Please be informed accordingly.
