No. EGCO 110/235 Date: April 23, 2007 Attn: President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Subject: Changing of Company Trading Symbol in the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) The Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (the Company) currently uses EGCOMP as the symbol for trading shares in the Stock Exchange of Thailand while using the abbreviation of EGCO to represent the Company in communicating with the public. Viewing that such usage may be confusing to both investors and the public, the Company Board of Directors in the Meeting No.3/2007, held on March 20, 2007 resolved to change the Company trading symbol from EGCOMP to EGCO.
