No. EGCO 110/423 Date : October 2, 2009 Attn : President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Subject : The Acquisition of Entire Business of Rayong Electricity Generating Company Limited The Shareholders' Meeting of the Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO) at the Meeting No.1/2008, held on April 21, 2008, resolved to approve the acquisition of the entire business of Rayong Electricity Generating Company Limited (REGCO), EGCO's wholly owned subsidiary, with effect on July 1, 2008 or any other date that would be determined by the President, including the approval of REGCO's dissolution and liquidation in the same year. The Company would like to inform the Stock Exchange of Thailand that the acquisition of entire business and the dissolution of REGCO was completed on October 1, 2009 and October 2, 2009 respectively.
