Report on the Progress of the Solar Power Plant

No. EGCO 110/087 Date: March 5, 2010 Attn: President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Subject: Report on the Progress of the Solar Power Project Reference is made to the Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO)'s letter ref no. EGCO 110/325 dated August 3, 2009 informing the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) that EGCO joined the investment with CLP Thailand Renewables Limited (CLP) and Diamond Generating Asia, Limited (DGM) by acquiring newly issued shares in the Natural Energy Development Co., Ltd., (NED) a company which is dedicated to development of renewable energy projects in Thailand. Each of the parties holds equal 33.33% shares in NED. EGCO would like to inform the SET that on March 4, 2010, NED has signed the Non-Firm Power Purchase Agreement with Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand for purchasing 55 MW from solar power plant for a period of 5 years from the Commercial Operation Date which is scheduled to be on November 1, 2011. The tariff rate stated in the regulation of Non-Firm Power Purchase Agreement for Small Power Producer, B.E. 2550 will be applied. The project is located in Lupburi Province.
