EGCO Group delivers relief bags and food supplies to support flood victims in Southern Thailand

Demonstrating its commitment to standing with Thai people in every situation, Electricity Generating Public Company Limited or EGCO Group delivered 1,000 relief bags to the Disaster Relief Center of the 42nd Military Circle at Fort Senanarong. The supplies will be distributed to flood-affected residents and shelters in Hat Yai district and other areas of Songkhla province. Each relief bag contained essential items, medicines, and lighting equipment. In addition, the company donated 2,500 kilograms of rice, 500 trays of eggs, and 500 bottles of cooking oil. Mr. Kittipong Mungkung, Assistant Plant Manager of Khanom Electricity Generating Company Limited, represented EGCO Group in handing over the donated items to Major General Somkid Boonchote, Chief of Staff of the Royal Thai Army’s 4th Army Region, on 29 November 2025.

Earlier, the Khanom power plant, EGCO Group’s subsidiary, in collaboration with the Khanom District Village Heads Club in Nakhon Si Thammarat, collected 100 life jackets and delivered them to the Disaster Relief Center of the 42nd Military Circle to support flood-rescue operations carried out by officials, volunteers, and affected communities. The power plant also donated essential supplies in - including drinking water, dry food, and other necessities - to the Prince of Songkla University’s shelter for flood victims.

EGCO Group has consistently supported flood-relief efforts in southern Thailand and remains committed to providing assistance, supporting post-flood recovery, and offering moral support to help affected residents overcome this crisis.
