jointly invests with PTT to set up LNG company

Electricity Generating Plc (EGCOMP) will jointly invest with the Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTT) to set up a liquified natural gas company. EGCOMP said that it will hold a 10% stake of the initial registered capital of the joint venture worth no more than about Bt75 million. PTT and the would-be operator of the IPP project will hold the major stake in the new company, said EGCOMP. The decision was made at the company's board meeting no.2/1995 on February 24, 1995. EGCOMP also reported that it will not pay its 1994 annual dividend, as had been stated earlier in its prospectus. The 1995 general shareholders' meeting of the company will be held on April 27, 1995, said EGCOMP. Translated by the Nati
